Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a 24-bay PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patients during Phase I and Phase II recovery following surgical or procedural anesthesia
• Utilize ACLS skills to respond to changes in patient condition and manage post-operative complications
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to Phase II recovery areas as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including weekend call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required - candidates without this certification will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR or similar electronic medical record systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Phase II post-anesthesia recovery
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-bay PACU environment
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a fast-paced surgical setting
