    Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the full life cycle, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and older adults
    • Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Develop and revise individualized patient plans of care, coordinating across disciplines and delegating to other care team members as appropriate
    • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes in post-anesthesia patients
    • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practice standards and environment of care
    • Perform unit-specific clinical skills as outlined by the assigned care unit's skill expectations, which may vary based on assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Minnesota RN license
    • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (ICU or ED)
    • Previous PACU experience required
    • Previous travel nursing experience required
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
    • Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations
    • Trauma Level I experience required
    • Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment
    • Familiarity with Level II pediatric trauma and/or Level III NICU care settings
    • Skills checklist current within the past year and pertinent to PACU specialty
