Key Responsibilities
Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the full life cycle, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and older adults
Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Develop and revise individualized patient plans of care, coordinating across disciplines and delegating to other care team members as appropriate
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes in post-anesthesia patients
Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practice standards and environment of care
Perform unit-specific clinical skills as outlined by the assigned care unit's skill expectations, which may vary based on assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Minnesota RN license
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (ICU or ED)
Previous PACU experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Epic EMR experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
Experience with pediatric through geriatric patient populations
Trauma Level I experience required
Must live more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment
Familiarity with Level II pediatric trauma and/or Level III NICU care settings
Skills checklist current within the past year and pertinent to PACU specialty
