    Registered Nurse – Pre-Admission Testing (PAT RN)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct patient interviews and perform comprehensive preoperative assessments
    • Review and document patient medical histories in preparation for upcoming surgical procedures
    • Coordinate pre-surgical requirements and communicate with relevant care team members
    • Track and manage patients through the pre-admission process to ensure timely preparation for surgery
    • Accurately document all assessments and patient information using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing, required at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2–3 years of registered nursing experience
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • Must pass a Dysrhythmia (20-question) and Medication (20-question) competency test administered via Zoom prior to assignment; passing score is 85% with one attempt only
    • Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers accepted)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a pre-admission testing, perioperative, or PACU nursing role
    • Familiarity with endoscopy or surgical care settings
