Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patient populations in a Level I Trauma setting
Fulfill on-call obligations including 2 weekday on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift per 6-week schedule, and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday on-call shift
Document patient care accurately using Cerner Aceis Surgi Net charting system
Float as needed to GI or pain center units when operationally required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions from surgical to recovery care
Required Qualifications
Active, valid RN state license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU
Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
Active PALS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in SICU, MICU, or CTICU settings
Familiarity with Cerner Aceis Surgi Net electronic health record system
Comfort working with both adult and pediatric patient populations
