Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Scheduled | On-Call as Needed | Standby Expected Approximately 4 Days per Month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care for cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology patients
- Assist with bedside procedures in the ISSU
- Apply crisis management expertise in the care of cardiac patients
- Float within the hospital as needed based on unit demands
- Participate in standby coverage as expected by the unit schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of pre- and post-interventional procedural care experience
- Background experience in ICU or ER demonstrating crisis management expertise in cardiac patient care
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac and vascular patient populations in a procedural setting
- Familiarity with interventional radiology recovery protocols
- Two supervisor references preferred
