Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts | Variable start times ranging from 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM | No call, no weekends Key Responsibilities
Provide pre-operative nursing care and assessment for patients preparing for surgical procedures
Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses in the pre-operative setting
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient readiness and safety
Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records (required)
Adhere to facility protocols, compliance standards, and patient safety guidelines throughout the pre-operative process
Required Qualifications
Active California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be AHA or ARC issued with valid expiration dates)
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records is required
