    Job Title

    Staff RN – PACU

    Location

    Lancaster, OH

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 4x9-hour shifts | Weekend call one day (Saturday or Sunday) every 6 weeks; night call 4–5 times per 6-week schedule

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge
    • Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely; implement physician orders as written
    • Notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status in a timely manner
    • Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
    • Maintain thorough, concise, and accurate documentation of the nursing process and care pathways
    • Supervise and delegate role-appropriate tasks to nursing assistants and co-workers in accordance with established policies and procedures
    Required Qualifications
    • Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio
    • Current CPR certification
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to make independent decisions
    • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Ability to perform heavy work, including exerting 50–100 lbs of force occasionally and frequent patient handling
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous Registered Nursing experience, particularly in a PACU or perioperative setting
    • Experience supervising or directing nursing support staff in a clinical environment
    • Familiarity with AIDET and TeamSTEPPS communication frameworks
