Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in the PACU and pre-operative settings
Float to additional PACU/Pre-op locations as needed based on staffing requirements
Participate in on-call rotation, including one 24-hour weekend call per month (Saturday or Sunday, 0700–0700), two weeknight calls per month (1900–0700), and holiday rotation per unit policy
Complete required learning modules prior to and during the assignment
Maintain active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
Required Qualifications
Active Colorado RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Valid driver's license required to verify residency
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
