    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act
    • Manage AM admissions, blocks, and patient recovery in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
    • Perform and monitor procedural sedation as part of patient care protocols
    • Delegate and assign responsibilities appropriately to other care team members under the direction of the attending physician
    • Document and manage patient care using EPIC electronic health records
    • Serve as a leader of the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
    • Experience with AM admissions, blocks, and recovery required
    • Procedural sedation experience required
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Active New York State RN License required (must be uploaded with profile)
    • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (must be current and uploaded with profile)
    • Must have own personal vehicle — firm requirement
    • Candidates must reside outside of the following New York counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
    • Must be available to work holidays as needed
    • Requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; requests submitted after upload will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
    • Completion of Verbal De-escalation training through Welle or CPI required prior to onboarding
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
    • Familiarity with agency compliance processes and travel assignment expectations
    • Experience working in a high-volume or regional medical center environment
