    Seasonal Travel RN – PACU

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Shift: 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM | Projected Start: September 28, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients receiving anesthesia across surgical specialties including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases.
    • Float between PACU units including Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center as needed.
    • Monitor and manage high-acuity patients including high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVR, and critical care overflow.
    • Maintain patient ratios in accordance with ASPAN standards (1 RN to 2 patients; up to 3 for same-day surgery patients).
    • Utilize GE monitoring equipment and document patient care using Meditech EMR.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care and/or PACU.
    • Current PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
    • Ability to float between multiple PACU units within the facility.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with stroke care and high neuro-volume patient populations.
    • Flexible and outgoing personality well-suited to a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
