    Job Title

    Seasonal Travel RN – PACU

    Location

    Englewood, Colorado

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and interventional procedures, including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, robotics, TAVR, and interventional radiology cases
    • Monitor and manage patients using GE monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech EMR
    • Float between PACU areas including Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center as needed based on daily surgery schedule
    • Maintain patient ratios in accordance with ASPAN standards, typically 1 RN to 2 patients, with up to 3 for same-day surgery patients
    • Manage high-acuity patients including high neuro volume, stroke patients, and critical care overflow
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs and patient care technicians across a combined Pre-Op and PACU environment of 59 total bays
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or through compact licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care and/or PACU
    • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Ability to float between multiple PACU units as required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with stroke care and high neuro-volume patient populations
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
    • Flexible and outgoing personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment
