    Job Title

    Travel RN – PACU / Same Day Surgery

    Location

    Dublin, GA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM with On-Call | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care within a Same Day Surgery unit (this is a pre/post position — not an OR Circulator role)
    • Manage patient ratios of 2–3:1 in post-op and 1–2:1 in pre-op, adjusted based on patient acuity
    • Perform procedures including IV starts, administration of basic IV infusions, Foley catheter insertion, and EKG
    • Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float within Surgical Services on a PRN basis or per facility policy as needed
    • Adhere to AIDET patient experience standards and complete Pediatric and Neuro Post-Operative competencies during on-site orientation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia
    • Minimum of 1–2 years of pre-operative and post-operative nursing experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a Same Day Surgery or ambulatory surgical setting
    • Familiarity with equipment such as bladder scanners, vein finders, and EKG machines
    • Experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment
    • Prior travel nursing experience
