Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
- Assess and manage patient pain, vital signs, and airway status in the post-operative setting
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions from the OR to the PACU
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- PALS certification preferred
