    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis in a PACU or Pre-Op setting
    • Monitor and evaluate patient responses post-anesthesia or pre-procedure and intervene as clinically appropriate
    • Supervise clinical staff and delegate patient care tasks appropriately within scope of practice
    • Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
    • Contribute to competency evaluation and ongoing development of clinical staff at the unit level
    • Assist with appropriate resource management related to patient care operations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of South Dakota or a compact state
    • Current BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Prior PACU or Pre-Op nursing experience in a clinical setting
    • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patients in a post-anesthesia or pre-operative care environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgical environment
    • Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience at the unit level
    • Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards
