Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff at the unit level
Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Experience in Med/Surg nursing
Demonstrated ability to assess and plan patient care independently
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a PACU or surgical center setting
Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
