Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures
- Support and assist with procedures including TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 across pre/post bays and procedure areas
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
- Participate in holiday coverage as required by unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN license (or compact eligibility)
- Active BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross (required)
- Minimum 24 months of current experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting
- First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- TEE and cardioversion experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Stress testing experience
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
