Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Shift (6:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | 50% Day/Evening Rotation | Up to 2 Weekend Shifts per Month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery status in the PACU setting
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered to support patient stabilization and comfort
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure safe patient transitions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Travel PACU experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Academic Medical Center setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing a high-acuity and high-volume PACU patient population
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
