Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural sedation
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic EMR
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Participate in holiday coverage, with a requirement to work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN State License required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) required
- PALS certification (AHA) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
- Illinois RN licensure (or willingness to apply upon offer)
- Experience working in a trauma center environment
