Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Shifts fall Sunday and Friday only — No Saturdays | Holidays required as scheduled | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation in a PACU setting
• Assess, monitor, and manage patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Float within specialty areas including ICU and critical care, as well as to sister facilities, as needed
• Participate in pre-scheduled on-call status during low-census periods as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• PALS certification – American Heart Association only
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience; first-time travelers with strong ICU or critical care experience will be considered
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in PACU or critical care settings
• Experience floating across ICU and critical care units
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the accepted online vendor)
