Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities
Perform patient care functions in the PACU in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
Operate under the supervision of the Unit Director and direct shift supervision of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
Deliver safe, high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of patient care
Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Required Qualifications
ASN required
Current Maine RN license or compact license
BLS required - must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire
ACLS required - must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire
PALS required - must be current or obtained within 1 year of hire
Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a collaborative team-oriented approach
Preferred Experience / Skills
BSN preferred
1-3 years of PACU or related nursing experience preferred
