Description:
Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Responsible for providing post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
Administer medications and manage pain relief as needed.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe transitions from surgery to recovery.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery expectations.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients during their recovery period.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Work effectively within a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and start times.
