Pay: $2,880.40 weekly
Shifts: Monday - Friday, hours dependent on requisition
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care for a travel contract in Green Bay, WI. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced post-anesthetic care environment, managing patients who have undergone various surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care- Provide post-anesthetic care for both inpatient and outpatient settings, including pediatric and adult patients
- Manage a variety of cases including general, plastics, urology, GI, bariatrics, and more
- Experience with and ability to read/interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac gtts, and provide detailed discharge instructions
- Assist with intubation in PACU as needed
- Maintain patient ratios of Pre-op: 1:3, Phase I: 1:2, Phase II: 1:3
Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care- Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Preferred CAPA or CPAN certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Phase I/Phase II PACU required
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC, and equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis med dispensing
