- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) under the guidance of medical staff.

- Stay updated on current practice standards (ANA, NH Nurse Practice Act, Specialty standards).
- Foster effective communication for seamless patient care through hand-offs and collaborative rounds.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff by adhering to established protocols.
- Promote patient safety through resource and initiative implementation.
- Uphold a Just Culture Environment to encourage error reporting and safe practices.
- Address issues through the proper chain of command with respect and professionalism.
- Perform hourly rounding in collaboration with Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) for all assigned patients.
- Proactively identify and assist in remedying safety concerns in patient care.
- Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance among colleagues.
- Build respectful relationships by addressing concerns and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate across units and shifts to resolve conflicts and challenges promptly.
- Consult with nursing peers for shared expertise and best practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even in challenging situations.
- Offer support to all team members and resolve tensions proactively.
- Share responsibilities and mentor nursing students and less experienced staff.
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain readiness for DNV surveys.
- Embody the spirit of teamwork and accountability to co-workers.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and training.
**Requirements:**
- Current New Hampshire RN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program preferred.
- Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
- NHISS certification preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.
- Less than 1 year of critical care experience; 3 years preferred.
