Candidates must have experience with pre and post Cath lab procedures. The nurse will provide care for a patient ratio of 1:2 in the PACU, with potential floating to a 1:3-5 patient ratio in the Holding area. The position requires a commitment to work one weekend shift per month. Nurses will need to be available for 1-2 overnight call shifts each month. The role includes the management of ventilated patients and dysrhythmia recognition. Clinicians will provide care across various patient age groups, including neonates and geriatrics. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Nurses should be comfortable with increased patient care demands and acute situations. Pediatric experience is a plus but not mandatory. This position requires flexibility in accommodating facility needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. The facility serves a diverse patient population, providing a range of surgical and medical services. The role will involve utilizing Cerner for charting patient information. Candidates should expect a robust patient caseload, typically exceeding 35 cases daily.
