No local candidates within 100 miles. Pre/Post Cath lab procedures are required. Pre/Post IR procedures are required. COVID Vaccine: Optional. MUST have level 1 trauma and telemetry experience. First-time travelers accepted after client screening. One weekend shift per month is required. On-call requirement is 1-2 overnight shifts monthly based on a 4-week schedule. PACU nurses will float to the holding area in the PACU department. In the holding area, the nurse-to-patient ratio can be 1:3-5. These patients are equivalent to an inpatient floor PCU assignment. Open to accommodating block schedule: No. Pending license accepted. RTO restrictions: Greater than 7 days requires approval. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week, with the facility allowed to call off 3 times throughout a 13-week assignment. Highly recommend clinicians with Phase II PACU experience. Travelers must be willing to perform pre-op duties. Avoid passing candidates who are missing requirements. Limited to no pediatric experience may be considered. Modules may be billable up to 4 hours. Candidates are required to complete modules during orientation and annually. Failure in EKG testing may result in a 6-month system DNR if failed twice. Travelers without certain certifications must pass in-person training during orientation. Eligibility requires prior travel experience. A 6-month break is required after 1 year or 4 consecutive assignments, whichever occurs first. A 12-month separation is required for former staff.
