Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,738 per week in Windsor, VT

The RN will be responsible for the admission and discharge of surgical patients. They will conduct nursing admission assessments and provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care. Strong assessment, IV skills, and patient education abilities are essential. Multitasking and effective communication with all team members are critical. Candidates should have experience in a rural or outpatient facility. Experience in preparing the operating room for surgery (pre-op) is required, in addition to preparing patients. Patients ages 16 and older will be cared for. The unit can accommodate up to 17 patients per day across an 8-bay setup. The RN may need to step into the operating room to assist as needed. Travel experience is preferred. Requests for time off must be noted prior to submission and cannot exceed 5 days. Scheduling requests will be strictly adhered to at the time of submission.
