SSSU/PACU nursing care duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area. This encompasses Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, and Pre-operative Clinic. Nurses will address hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures. Candidates are expected to use their nursing assessment skills, including peri-operative education and care. Recognition of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications is essential for this role.
