Certifications:
BLS - Basic Life Support
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Must-Have:
- Epic EMR experience
- Current/recent pediatric care experience
- Strong experience reading telemetry
- Strong experience measuring telemetry
- Drips and titration experience
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months recent PACU experience.
Candidates must possess an active nursing license in Iowa or a compact multistate license.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
The position will involve caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and managing post-operative pain.
All candidates will be required to work during the holiday season as specified.
Nurses will work Monday to Friday during the day shift, with flexible starting hours between 0900 and 1200.
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate strong telemetry skills and experience with drips and titrations.
