TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87505!

# Job Opportunity – Pre-Operative Registered Nurse – New Mexico

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts). On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week from end of shift until 10:00 PM. No weekend requirement. Blocked scheduling accommodated.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association required
  • ACLS Certification from American Heart Association required
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to pre-operative patient population
  • Strong communication skills and sensitivity to patient rights

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans within established nursing standards
  • Systematically re-assess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical data and patient outcomes
  • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
  • Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
  • Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient response and outcomes
