Description:
This role involves working in a fast-paced recovery setting.
The ideal candidate will manage patients post-surgery, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Patient types include pediatrics and adults, covering a wide range of surgical areas.
Responsibilities entail assessing and monitoring patient recovery, providing discharge instructions, and managing possible intubated patients.
Patient ratios are as follows: Pre-op 1:3, Phase I 1:2, and Phase II 1:3.
Experience recovering post-catheterization, bronchoscopy, and interventional radiology patients is highly preferred.
Candidates must be familiar with handling various equipment, including cardiac gtts and art lines.
Team support is vital; collaboration among all staff members is expected.
Anesthesiologists and CRNAs will be available for support, along with surgical staff.
Flexibility in floating between recovery phases is necessary.
There are no weekend rotations or on-call duties required.
Approval for time off is limited to a maximum of four days.
Dress code requires solid professional scrub colors without logos or graphics.
