Description:
This role requires rotating shifts, including day, evening, and weekend schedules.
1-2 rotations to the weekend per 4-week schedule are mandatory.
1-2 evening rotations (1 PM - 11:30 PM) per 4-week schedule are also required.
On-call duty is required.
Shifts may include 4x10's, 2x10's, or 2x8's.
The position predominantly works evenings from 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 2:00 PM - 12:30 PM, and 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
This is a Level III Trauma Operating Room with a complex community setting.
The patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
The clinician to patient ratio is 1:1.
The average daily census is approximately 30-40 patients.
Experience in scrub roles is preferred.
Preferred qualifications include a BSN and CNOR certification.
Additional certifications desired are PALS and ACLS.
Weekend shifts will include on-call duties.
Holiday call and 2-3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule are required.
