**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse in Pre-Operative Surgery!**
**Job Description:**

- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-Operative Surgery!

**Key Details:**
- **Shift:** 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (5 Days - 8 hours)
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Licenses Required:**
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS Certification from AHA
- ACLS Certification from AHA
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and implement high-quality patient care specific to the pre-operative setting.
- Assess and establish patient care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Develop and execute individualized care plans that are measurable and meet nursing standards.
- Make informed nursing decisions and modify care plans as needed based on patient evaluations.
- Involve patients and their families in health education and discharge planning.
- Timely implementation and documentation of interventions according to patient needs.
- Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current knowledge and skills specific to the age/type of patient population served.
- Strong communication skills tailored to the developmental age of the patient.
- Passion for patient rights and delivering quality care.
**Work Schedule:**
- 5 Days - 8 Hours
- **On-Call Requirement:** Yes, 1-2 call nights per week post-shift until 10 PM
- **Weekend Requirement:** None
- **Floating Requirement:** Yes, as needed
