Patient groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and specific diagnoses may vary. The role requires experience with monitoring and managing various patient conditions. Skills in IV management, pain management, and monitoring for complications are essential. The ability to interpret and communicate lab values is critical. Candidates will be responsible for patient assessment and post-operative care. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities based on the unit's needs. Refusal to float may affect guaranteed hours and assignment stability.
