# Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – PennsylvaniaStart Date: November 16, 2026 Location: Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM) with on-call requirements; 2 on-call shifts Monday-Friday plus 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift per 6-week schedule; 1 summer and 1 winter holiday on-callHighlights:- Level I Trauma Center with diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics- Advanced critical care procedures including craniotomies, transplants, cardiac cath, interventional radiology, and trauma cases- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services- 13-week contract with 16 hours of paid orientation- Scrubs provided; charting system: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net- Patient ratio of 2:1 with 12 operating rooms and 30 daily patient volumeRequirements:- Current Pennsylvania RN license (or compact state license)- Trauma nursing certification required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or PACU experience required- Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required- SICU, MICU, or CTICU experience strongly preferred- Previous travel nursing experience required- Charge experience and charting system proficiency preferred- Valid professional references and certification documentation required at submissionWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers exposure to complex, high-acuity cases in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment where you'll care for diverse patient populations and utilize advanced critical care skills. Floating to GI or Pain Center may be required based on facility needs. Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearance required within one week of contract acceptance.
