Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU/Pre Op/ Phase 2 Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1-2 years License: Current license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 RN position available. This role involves working in two different locations. Shifts are 3x12s, including start times of 08:00, 09:30, and 11:00. Staff-to-patient ratios are 1:1. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekends may be required based on unit needs. No on-call shifts are required. Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must be able to work in both locations as needed. No block schedule accommodations are available. Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted. Pending licenses are accepted. Restrict time off to no more than five days ideally. Special requirements include experience with the Epic charting system. This facility is an acute care, teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds. Additional skills required include monitoring and managing various medical procedures. Experience categories include managing ventilated patients and medication administration. Candidates should also be prepared for interdisciplinary support services. Compliance with local rules and background checks is necessary. References to prior work experience may be required. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census and visit numbers are to be determined for the unit. This role requires a commitment to patient care and effective communication. Availability for training and module completion is expected.
