Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Travel PACU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Academic Medical Center experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma academic medical center setting
• Familiarity with Epic or comparable electronic health record systems
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced post-operative environment
