Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) for a Travel assignment in Ohio. This vital role involves planning, providing, and directing patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process. The registered nurse acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families while collaborating with other healthcare members. Flexibility to float between PAA and PACU is required, depending on need.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care- Conduct a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients according to established standards.
- Participate in the establishment of a collaborative care plan based on assessment data.
- Implement and evaluate the care plan based on identified patient goals and outcomes.
- Modify the care plan based on reassessment of the patient's status.
- Complete all documentation according to established standards.
- Assess readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans as needed.
- Actively participate in department initiatives and serve in project roles as required.
- Provide age-appropriate care according to standards.
- Perform functions according to established policies and professional standards.
Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification required
- ACLS preferred
- 2 years of minimum nursing experience in specialty area preferred
