TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Warwick, Rhode Island, 02886!
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner
Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit scheduling needs
Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure safe patient transitions and discharge readiness
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Prior PACU experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with a high-volume or fast-paced surgical environment
Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols
