**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - SR PACU**
**Job Description:**

- Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and utilize your skills to provide exceptional nursing care!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver professional nursing care for assigned patients through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Complete comprehensive nursing databases and care plans, providing clear and relevant information while reporting findings to the physician.
- Execute nursing procedures and interventions with safety, efficiency, and technical skill.
- Manage and safely de-escalate anxious, hostile, or violent behavior promptly.
- Identify patient learning needs and provide tailored education to facilitate their recovery.
- Demonstrate effective delegation and support your colleagues in their roles.
- Utilize annual training information effectively while adhering to the nurse practice act.
**Required Skills & Experience:**

**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Previous hospital experience within the last five (5) years is preferred.
**Education:**
- Required: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
**Certifications & Licensure:**
- Required:
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR)
**Schedule Notes:**
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week with a call shift weekly and occasional weekends.
