TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Great Falls, Montana, 59401!
Key Responsibilities
Provide preoperative nursing care to prepare patients for surgical and procedural interventions
Recover adult and pediatric patients in the PACU setting following surgery or procedures
Care for pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patients
Support a broad range of procedural cases including Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Endoscopy, and Ophthalmology
Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
Proficiency in recovering both adult and pediatric patients
Must be flexible with scheduling, including call and holiday shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, GYN, and Ophthalmology
Prior experience in a PreOp, PACU, or cardiac catheterization lab setting
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity perioperative environment
