# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Kansas
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM shift, on-call required with 30-minute response time
Highlights:- 30-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit supporting diverse surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity
- Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and dedicated charge nurse support
- EMR system: Meditech
- Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 12 nurses ensuring strong team support
- Travel assignment offering competitive compensation and benefits package
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU experience required
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Flexibility with scheduling preferred
- Prior Meditech experience strongly preferred
