Candidate must float between various areas as needed including recovery and short stay units. On-call requirement does not apply. Support staff includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Daily patient census is approximately 12 patients. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Required skills include management of BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and IV insulin protocols. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to start and maintain intravenous lines. Knowledge of special equipment such as in-room lifts is necessary. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to patient care. Pediatric experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures and post-operative care.
