The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for complex surgical patients recovering from anesthesia. Nurses will be responsible for preoperative assessments and educating patients prior to surgery. Nurses will manage cases including urological, gynecological, and colorectal surgeries among others. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with patients requiring advanced monitoring and care. Shifts will include rotating start times in the evenings. There will be a requirement for on-call availability. Nurses are expected to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. This role demands high-level critical thinking and decision-making skills. Candidate must pass an EKG exam related to dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
