**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in SR PACU!**
**Job Description:**
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the SR PACU, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and recovery! This is your chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Provide exceptional professional nursing care for assigned patients.
- Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Complete comprehensive nursing database and care plans, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently, and with confidence.
- Defuse anxious, hostile, or violent behavior swiftly and effectively.
- Identify patient learning needs and provide impactful education.
- Demonstrate strong and effective use of delegation within the team.
- Stay updated and compliant with annual training and nurse practice act.
**Required Education:**
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
**Preferred Education:**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
**Required Certifications & Licensure:**
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Hospital experience within the past five (5) years is a plus!
**Schedule Notes:**
- Two shifts available:
- Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Monday to Friday shifts with on-call requirements.
