Shifts: Days - 8:00AM-6:30PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts)

This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care within the surgical services environment. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies
- Obtain and record initial assessments, establish priorities based on patient needs
- Re-assess patients systematically to identify necessary interventions
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify plans based on outcomes
- Participate in health education and discharge planning
- Implement and document timely interventions
- Evaluate care plans and perform Point of Care testing procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA
- Experience suitable to patient population served
- Effective communication skills for diverse patient ages
