The nurse will provide care for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with a variety of surgical specialties is essential. The nurse will monitor and assess patients post-operatively. Responsibilities include management of IV therapies, respiratory care, and neuro assessments. Weekend shifts may be required, either every other week or 6 shifts within a 6-week block. The nurse may be required to participate in a call rotation based on staff sign-up. All requests for time off must be submitted with the application. Compliance with facility policies on call-off and holiday work is expected. The ability to float within skillset is required. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
