Key Responsibilities- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a procedural unit setting with a 1:3 patient ratio
- Care for patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures including TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing
- Manage patient preparation and recovery across pre/post bays and procedure rooms
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
- Work 1-2 designated holidays per holiday period unless the unit is closed
Required Qualifications- Active Iowa RN license required
- AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Minimum 24 months of current experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting required
- First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- TEE experience required
- Cardioversion experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Stress testing experience preferred
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
