Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a procedural unit setting with a 1:3 patient ratio
Care for patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures including TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing
Manage patient preparation and recovery across pre/post bays and procedure rooms
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
Work 1-2 designated holidays per holiday period unless the unit is closed
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa RN license required
AHA or ARC BLS certification required
Minimum 24 months of current experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting required
First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience
EPIC EMR experience required
TEE experience required
Cardioversion experience required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Stress testing experience preferred
