Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,005 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1-2 years recent ICU and/or Level I trauma center PACU experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS required; CPAN, TNCC, CCRN highly desirable Must-Have: - Recent PACU/Preop experience - Minimum 2 years ICU experience - Critical thinking ability - Ability to work independently Description: Monitor post-operative patients' levels of recovery and consciousness from anesthesia and provide updates to the medical team as needed. Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia and administer medication as prescribed.
