Obtain and record patients' vital signs. Observe patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication. Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia and administer medication as prescribed. Update charting (EMR), patient files, and medical records. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and answer any questions.
